Beim simulationsbasierten Design von elektromagnetischen Komponenten spielen Parameterunsicherheiten eine zunehmend große Rolle. Aufgrund von Fertigungstoleranzen oder anderen Störeinflüssen ist es sinnvoll Eingangsvariablen als zufallsverteilt zu modellieren. Dadurch werden Felder durch stochastische partielle Differentialgleichungen beschrieben, deren Modellierung und effiziente Lösung in der Arbeitsgruppe erforscht werden.

  • Unsicherheiten in Magnetoquasistatischen Problemen mit Niederfrequenzanwendungen
  • Modellierung von stochastischen magnetischen Materialien und Diskretisierungsverfahren
  • Tensor-Methoden für hochdimensionale parametrische Probleme
  • Stochastische Spektralverfahren mit adjungierten Fehlerschätzern
